University of Kerbala /Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled “Antioxidant property of clove extract and its effects on cytochrome P450E1 gene expression and modulate DNA damage in rats with alcoholic induced liver disease”

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Kerbala has discussed an M.A thesis – physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology department. It has been presented by (Mohammed Mohsen Karim) which is entitled” Antioxidant property of clove extract and its effects on cytochrome P450E1 gene expression and modulate DNA damage in rats with alcoholic induced liver disease”.
The thesis aims at study the antioxidant properties of clove extract and evaluate its effect on cytochrome p450E1 gene expression in alcoholic liver condition.
The thesis also has discussed the results which indicate that the phenolic substances in clove leaf extract improve the state of alcoholic liver through its antioxidant activity and modify DNA damage.
