University of Kerbala
Faculty of Tourist Sciences / University of Kerbala holds a scientific symposium which is entitled ” Dangers of Gender and its Negative Marketing”, in cooperation with Nahj Al-Arbaeen Cultural Charitable Foundation, with participation of a number of researchers and specialists, and in presence of vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri.
The symposium aims at introducing the concept of gender, increase knowledge of social roles, and introduce positive and negative aspects.
The symposium includes a lecture on introducing men’s and women’s rights, staying away from customs that have established some negative customs and traditions, and consolidating concepts of Islamic religion that call for respect of men and women, and staying away from phenomena that are offensive to society.
The study stresses the importance of adhering to Islamic instructions directives and principles call for in Holy Qur’an, and national constants guaranteed by Iraqi Constitution.
