Faculty of Agriculture – University of Kerbala holds a seminar which is entitled “Mycotoxins – the hidden danger” with the participation of professors and postgraduate students.
The seminar aims at introducing mycotoxins, their effect and risks.
The seminar reviews the concept of mycotoxins, the most important fungi that produce mycotoxins, differences between mycotoxins and toxic fungi, as well as the impact of mycotoxins on humans and animals. The seminar deals with the history of the emergence of mycotoxins and the close relationship between cancer and mycotoxins.
