Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Kerbala has organized a training course which is entitled (War Correspondent and International Protection) with the participation and presence of Department of Media and its divisions / University of Kerbala and a number of faculty members, staff and students.
Asst. Lect. Saeb Muhammad Nadhim, who is one of the lecturers in the course, deals with legal aspect regarding international protection of journalist, as media men participate in reporting the event, and the truth of what is happening in battlefield, so they may be victims of armed conflicts.
Within the same context, journalist, Tariq Al-Khafaji, Director of Media Division at the faculty, delivers a qualitative lecture entitled ( War Correspondent and Challenges of Field Message), which deals with challenges, dangers, and abnormal conditions facing war correspondent while covering the news of battles on battle fronts, as well as advantages that war correspondent has. and the journalistic arts he uses.
For her part, journalist, Wasan Al-Baldawi, presents a lecture entitled ( basics of media, its concept, types, forms, effects and functions). She also explains the concept of new media, or what is called digital media.
