Media Division and Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit /faculty of Agriculture /University of Kerbala has organized an awareness-raising symposium which is entitled ” Danger of Traditional and Digital Drugs and Their Effects on Society”, with participation of a number of specialists, researchers and students .
The symposium aims at spreading community awareness about dangers of drugs and their negative effects by educating students about dangers and types of drugs and their prevention as they threaten the future of youth and the country.
The symposium deals with negative effects on society from the family point of view, such as family disintegration or economic effects, as well as health effects.
The symposium stresses the need to reduce the spread of the drug phenomenon through laws in force or through community education.
