University of Kerbala Holding an Electronic Workshop on the Detection of Receptors in the Subcutaneous Tissue

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala has organized an electronic workshop entitled “Detection of the Mechanoreceptor in the Subcutaneous Tissue”, with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists, using the Zoom platform.
The workshop aims at presenting a brief overview of the way of identifying mechanical sensory receptors in the subcutaneous tissues and their role in transmitting nerve sensations.
The workshop shows that the stimuli are touch, pressure, stretching, sound waves, and motion. In addition, these mechanical receptors are often found in the superficial skin or the deeper layers of the skin. However, it can also be found near the bone. These mechanical receptors can either be encapsulated or non-encapsulated
