Faculty of Veterinary Medicine / University of Kerbala has held its fourth periodic scientific conference on health protection and animal production, under supervision of President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile .
It is attended by Vice president for administrative affairs, Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri, and Vice president for Scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Najim Abd Al Hussein Najim and a number of researchers from inside and outsidethe University. Dr Akram AlbYassiri says that the conference comes within the university’s vision of caring for livestock, referring to university’s endeavor to create knowledge integration between practical and theoretical aspects.
Al-Yassiri stresses that participating researches will contribute effectively to enhance capabilities to advance animal production.
For her part, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Wefaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, adds that holding conference comes from the faculty’s keenness to find out scientific solutions to the problems facing the country’s livestock.
Al-Bazi indicates that scientific committees of the conference has received more than 50 papers with different specializations from inside and outside Iraq, pointing out that all participating researches are subjected to scientific evaluation in order to consolidate them.
