College of Law, University of Kerbala organizes a workshop which is entitled “The Role of Media in Promoting Human Rights”.
Being presented by Lect. Ahmed Sharar, thr workshop addresses media vital role that plays in disseminating a culture of human rights and highlighting violations that affect individuals’ dignity. It also emphasizes the importance of objectivity and professionalism in addressing issues of rights and freedoms.
The workshop highlights the need to raise awareness showing significance of encouraging journalists to adopt a media discourse that promotes concepts of justice, equality and human right.
