Being held in cooperation with Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations _University of Kerbala, University of Oviedo in Spain, and Spanish Andalusian Moorish Academy, College of Education for Humanities organizes a scientific symposium on ” Al_Taff Battle in Morisco Heritage.” The symposium, which has been presented by Dr. Jumaa Hassan Youssef, Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Mahmoud, Dr. Ahmed Shahid Taban, Dr. Muhannad Amer Al-Tamimi, and Dr. Murtadha Kamal Al-Yasiri, discusses echoes of battle of Karbala in Morisco manuscripts and its cultural and intellectual presence it reflected in medieval Spanish literature. It also highlights Morisco researchers’ role of in conveying humane image of Husseini Revolution to Europe.
It is ended up with the importance of an exchange of scientific contributions and strengthening academic and cultural cooperation between Iraqi universities and their Spanish counterparts.
