University of Kerbala
In the presence of President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile, Faculty of Engineering / University of Kerbala hosted the closing session of the Third International Conference on Geotechnical Engineering – Iraq (ICGE-2022) on 30 May, 2022, which was held in cooperation with Faculty of Engineering / University of Baghdad, Iraqi Scientific Geotechnical Society in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering (ISSSMFE) and sponsored by Imam Hussain Shrine – Karbala Center for Studies and Research.
Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile says that this conference seeks to provide a scientific base for researchers and specialists to present and discuss the latest research and results of studies in various engineering disciplines.
The president adds that the conference aims at introducing the axes of geotechnical engineering and aspects used in it, in addition to the exchange of knowledge for this vital and basic specialization among researchers in Iraqi universities.
In turn, Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile commended the efforts of researchers in bearing all the consequences of contributing to the dissemination of applied research in global containers, and participation in conferences, workshops and scientific seminars, being the beginning of the nucleus for scientific and research cooperation among researchers with international universities.
