University of Kerbala Hosts Activities of Imam Hussein’s International Conference

University of Kerbala hosts the sixth edition of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) International Conference, which is headed by General Secretariat of Al-Hussein Holy Shrine in cooperation with University of Karbala.
Being entitled ” Imam Ali’s Traces in Muslims’ Writings”, the conference has discussed about (160) research papers from several Iraqi and foreign universities.
Activities of the conference includes of shedding light on Ahl al-Bayt’s Quranic Encyclopedia which consists of (60) volumes that has all Ahl al-Bayt’s speeches related to Holy Quran, since the have been collected over 14 years.
The conference has been attended by Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, vice president for scientific affairs, Dr. Haider Muhammad Umran, and a group of deans and researchers from inside and outside Iraq, in addition to representatives of Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and the House of the Holy Quran.
The conference ends up with honoring academic and religious figures who had a great impact on conference success.
