Faculty of Veterinary Medicine / University of Kerbala has organized a training course on the most important diagnostic methods of parasites in meat, with participation of a number of researchers and specialists.
The course, which is lectured by Dr. Firas Odeh Khudair and Dr. Ibrahim Fadhl Rashid, aims at identifying the most important parasites that infect meat, laboratory methods used in diagnosis, and their validity for human consumption and their absence from diseases.
The course includes a detailed identification of the most important parasites found in meat and knowledge of laboratory methods used in diagnosing parasites present in meat, such as pineal vesicle disease and cat disease.
The course concludes with practical training on examining meat and how to conduct a laboratory diagnosis to detect parasites that infect it.
