College of Law, University of Kerbala organizes a course on drugs, causes of their spread and ways to combat them, as part of ministerial programme to develop scientific research skills for postgraduate students.
To be presented by Dr. Aqeel Kareem Al-Hasnawi, the course includes several axes, defining different types of drugs, their effects on physical and psychological health, methods by which they are traded, exploring causes of their spread, and different ways to combat them comprehensively.
The course deals with some treatments, such as awareness and treatment, legal legislation, as well as media programs that aim to reduce spread of drugs and their negative consequences.
The course aims at raising awareness among students about drugs and causes of their spread, and to enhance efforts made to combat them individually, socially and nationally.
