College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala organizes a training course on “Methods for Developing Archaeological Sites and Utilizing Them for Sustainable Development.”
Being presented by Dr. Hussein Kareem Hamidi, Asst. Lect. Elaf Abdul Hussein Abdullah, and Asst. Lect. Maha Nadhim Aziz, the course aims at highlighting methods of developing archaeological sites in a way that contributes to achieve sustainable development. This is considered an investment in cultural capital, which yields multifaceted returns when planned in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.
The course also included a discussion of a set of objectives so as to improve the use of archaeology to sustainable development.
