University of Kerbala , in cooperation with College of Law, organizes a lecture which is entitled” Human Right to Education and Its Impact on Achieving Sustainable Development.”
To be presented by Dr. Wafaa Hassan Alwan, the lecture includes an explanation of human right to education from perspective of Holy Quran, law, and Constitution. It addresses relationship between education and sustainable development and its impact, and whether it is the fourth goal of sustainable development and fundamental pillar of sustainability.
The lecture identifies obstacles facing educational process in achieving sustainable development goals, highlighting the need to activate capacity-building programs for educators, exchange expertise and successful experiences.
