University of Kerbala Participates in Gulf Education Exhibition

Appreciating “Study in Iraq” Project, the 19th Gulf Education Exhibition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, University of Kerbala takes its part alongside several other Iraqi public and private universities. This participation reflects presence of Iraqi higher education regionally.

Dr. Muslim Al-Ghanimi, Director of Department of Internal Affairs, who is a representative of the university, attends a series of meetings and informational seminars, displaying the university’s academic achievements, which attracted others’ attention.

Dr. Al-Ghanimi presents a comprehensive overview of academic programs offered by the University, highlighting educational opportunities available to international students and study paths that align with their interests and future aspirations.
The is also a detailed presentation of its accredited colleges and programs, admission procedures, and educational services. This initiative (i.e. Study In Iraq), reflects the university’s commitment to strengthen its regional academic presence and attracting international students, along with a strategic vision to develop higher education system and facilitate exchange of scientific expertise.
“Study in Iraq” project which is launched by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aims at attracting international students and enhancing image of Iraqi universities in regional and international forums.
Dr. Muslim Al-Ghanimi explains that this University participation represents the beginning of an extensive international outreach program. This program includes building sustainable scientific partnerships with international universities and academic institutions, working towards signing memorandum of understanding, activating student and faculty exchange programs, and paving the way for joint postgraduate programs launch in the future.

On his part, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid affirms this participation is a cornerstone of the university’s strategy to enhance its international status. He notes that these events provide opportunities to mirror the university’s scientific and academic achievements and establish direct communication channels with students and educational institutions as well.
