Being presented by Asst. Lect. Ruwaida Saad Sfouk, College of Education for Humanities University of Kerbala organized a scientific symposium on “Blogging as an Important Tool in Women’s Empowerment”.
The symposium addresses growing role of blogging in amplifying women’s voices and providing a free space to express their ideas and aspirations. It emphasizes that digital platforms have become an effective means of showcasing experiences, exchanging knowledge, and breaking down stereotypes associated with women in society.
Keeping pace with Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5 on gender equality, blogging contributes to women’s social and professional empowerment. The symposium also deals with Goal 4 on ensuring quality education by providing digital literacy and communication skills for all, and Goal 8 on decent work and economic growth by opening new horizons for career opportunities in digital media and content creation.
