College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala has organized a scientific symposium entitled “Language and Thought: A Controversial study of Priority and Influence”.
To be presented by Dr. Rafel Hassan Al-Taie and Dr. Abbas Obaid Al-Amiri, the symposium aims at reviewing the main references related to controversial linguistic and intellectual research, which is an extension of previous attempts by linguists and psychologists.
The symposium deals with explaining relationship between language and thought, with a presentation of the most prominent philosophical and anthropological theories on the subject.
