Faculty of Science / University of Kerbala has organized a training course on Nuclear Emergency Preparedness and response.
The course aims at identifying types of radiation emergencies and their effects, planning and responding to them.
The course includes introducing defining radiation emergencies, radioactive waste, effects of radiation, symptoms of radiation injury, and how to diagnose it.
The symposium also discusses treatment of exposure to radiation and how to protect people during radiological and nuclear emergencies.
