University of Kerbala Organizes its Fourth International Conference on Humanities

In cooperation with University of Hilla and Masoumeh University Qom, College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala holds its 4th international conference with participation of a number of researchers from inside and outside Iraq.
President of University of Kerbala Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali states that University of Kerbala is keen to host international conferences that keep pace with its vision and advancement of scientific research. These conferences also provide vital platforms for exchanging expertise, discussing contemporary challenges, and moving towards globalization, enhancing scientific and international cooperation and building relationships between researchers and academics.
He adds that this conference represents a valuable opportunity for students and professors to learn about the latest scientific developments and innovative research methodologies, noting that humanities have become of great importance to progress and achieve sustainable development.
For his part, Dean of the College, Dr. Hadi Al-Saidi, explains that the conference aims at exchanging academic and scientific expertise among researchers inside and outside Iraq to advance scientific knowledge and identify challenges facing progress.
Al-Saidi says that more than 90 research papers have been accepted, including various humanities disciplines, such as English language, translation, Arabic language, applied geography, history, educational and psychological sciences, information systems, tourism services, and issues of self-development.
President of Hilla University, Prof. Aqeel Al-Saadi, emphasizes that ongoing cooperation with University of Kerbala in organizing various scientific activities supporting scientific research movement in Iraq.
The has been attended by Dr. Firas Al-Maslamawi, a member of Parliamentary Education Committee; Dr. Qasim Al-Yasari, Chairman of Provincial Council; Dr. Mohsin Al-Kanani, Chairman of Council’s Higher Education Committee and a number of researchers from inside and outside the country.
