University of Kerbala
Faculty of Dentistry / University of Kerbala has organized a symposium on first aids, under direct supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Salah Abdel Sattar, Dean of the faculty, with participation of a group of employees and students.
The symposium includes theoretical and practical lectures on how to treat emergency cases, dealing with suffocation (partial and total), epilepsy, accidents and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The symposium aims at spreading the concept of first aid in order to increase medical and health awareness, and reduce as much as possible harmful effects of the injury, while calling ambulances to transport the injured as soon as possible so that his aid can be completed.
