Faculty of Agriculture – University of Kerbala has organized a training course which is entitled Medicinal Plants mentioned in Holy Qur’an.
The course aims at clarifying the basics of production and manufacture of medicinal plants.
It also deals with the most important plant mentioned in Holy Qur’an, explaining its medical benefits and uses, identifying the most important active compounds that are found in medicinal plants, their benefits, uses, and chemical properties, and explaining how to perform an extraction process for some effective compounds in the laboratory.
