Faculty of Islamic Sciences / Kerbala University has discussed the MA. thesis which is entitled (The Impact of context in Determining Grammatical Devices in the Holy Qur’an.
The thesis presented by Ali Abdel Amir Habin Al-Abedy, aims at highlighting some aspects of linguistic thought, the ancient and modern Arabic scholars, in particular, and others in general.
The study deals with the meaning and the impact of the context with its two parts in directing the grammatical methods in the Holy Qur’an and how the connotation of style in the origin of change and diversity to get out of its original meaning into sub-meanings determined by the context of the case or the place related to the text intended to be treated..
The thesis shows that the expressive medium is sometimes unable to accurately convey the intended meanings because the meanings are infinite, unlike the linguistic words used in the Holy Qur’an to express these meanings.
