Faculty of Science / University of Kerbala has organized a training course on hemorrhagic fever, its transmission methods, and means of prevention for undergraduate students.
The course aims at introducing participants to types of viral hemorrhagic fevers, which are infectious diseases that can cause damage to walls of small blood vessels, causing internal bleeding and hindering blood’s ability to clot.
The course includes introducing participants to the most important pathogens of this disease, its methods of transmission, and the most important symptoms associated with infection, as well as identifying areas where infection is widespread globally and locally, while lecturers presented a set of precautionary measures that should be followed to prevent infection risk.
