Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Kerbala has held a scientific symposium entitled (Electronic Blackmail), with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists.
The symposium aims at giving a comprehensive explanation of danger of electronic blackmail, drawing the attention of young people to the dangers of this phenomenon and correcting the use of social media.
The symposium indicates that in this period, the phenomenon of electronic blackmail in Iraq, which is practiced by specialized gangs and individuals to achieve financial gains and other ends, is so common nowadays.
The symposium focuses on raising awareness through audio-visual seminars and radio programs of dangers of this phenomenon.
