Faculty of Nursing / University of Kerbala has organized a workshop on addiction and ways to prevent it, with participation of a group of researchers and specialists.
The workshop aims at defining addiction, its causes, types, and ways to prevent it.
The workshop also addresses causes of drugs addiction and psychotropic substances and mechanism of treatment.
The researchers call for avoiding taking addictive medications and preventing children and adolescents from taking medications that contain narcotic substances.
