Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Thamir Kareem Khudair, signs a memorandum of understanding with Director of Karbala Agriculture, Eng. Mahdi Hassan. This memorandum aim at developing scientific cooperation between two sides to address problems facing agriculture in Karbala governorate.
The memorandum of understanding includes exchange of field visits, information, experiences, scientific and technical consultations, joint in scientific committees and councils of the two parties, committees for discussing and approving graduate studies plans, conducting joint scientific research studies, assisting documenting and publishing them to solve problems, developing applied research models and upgrading their specifications to world standard levels.
The agreement emphasizes cooperation in holding courses, training workshops and lectures in fields of joint specialized work, holding exhibitions, conferences and seminars in fields of joint work, and benefiting from scientific equipment and examinations available to both parties to serve public interest.
