University of Kerbala Held a Conference on Sciences and Renewable Energy

The College of Sciences in the University of Kebala held its seventh international conference on applied sciences and technology. More than 175 national and international researchers participated in the event. The conference aimed at reinforcing the role of applied sciences in helping the public by finding solutions to their problems. Furthermore, the conference is a great opportunity for researchers in Iraq to interact and exchange information with international researchers.

The conference dealt with different subjects, including renewable energy, environment, and public health. The researchers discussed the diverse issues that are faced by the involved sectors in the society and how they can be solved by the application of the results taken from the studies presented in the conference. The conference also included art and scientific exhibitions made by students and researchers to explain how environmental and public health issues can be treated.

At the conclusion of the conference, the researchers raised the importance of conducting more research in the fields of renewable energy and the environment to reduce the dependency on fossil fuels and the damage to the ecosystem.
