College of Science _ University of Kerbala organizes a scientific awareness symposium on ” Drug Abuse Prevention”.
To be presented by Asst. Lect. Ali Kadhim Awad and (Asst. Lect. Fursan Abdullah Abdul Ali, the symposium highlights psychological, physical, and social consequences of drug abuse.
It also demonstrates the importance of early guidance and counseling regarding dangers of this scourge in order to spare students and youth.
The symposium discusses several mechanisms of preventing this crime including developing religious awareness, supporting family relationships and instilling cultural values.
Showing efforts to spread awareness among communities to reduce negative behaviors, the symposium underlines the university’s role in promoting health culture.
