Abstract:
All praise is due to God, creator of the creation, granting good, praise suits His dignity as he must be praised, Prayer and peace be upon our master and prophet Mohammed and his progeny.
The one who follows the publications that contained the poetic texts as witnesses for its subjects finds that they were a source for researchers to stop what were implied and an attempt to try the research experience. Therefore, the literary gems that this book implied were a direct invitation to this book’s implications calling for investigation. When I read the book, my desire increased to search in it and to tackle its texts. When I returned to my supervisor, he advised me to the book” Al Nejoum Al Zahirah Fe Huli Hedhrat Al Qahirah”. After reading it and having an idea about its material and scientific value, he chose the title to me as” Poetry Directions and Features in the Book of “Al Nejoum Al Zahirah Fe Huli Hedhrat Al Qahirah” by Ibn Sa’ead Al Meghrebi ( died 685 H.)”. it is undoubtedly that the research problems were present as the texts’ artistic analysis that requires accuracy that the student cannot manage in his first research attempt, as well, the poetic texts depth and variety of its purposes. But after relying on Allah and my supervisor’s instructions all simplified the obstacles and I could cross and to start with the study plan of the thesis in accord with the scientific material that implied in the book. So, after agreement with my supervisor to divide the thesis into a preface entitled “Aspects from the biography of Ibn Sa’ead Al Meghrebi and definition of the book Al Nejoum Al Zahirah Fe Huli Hedhrat Al Qahirah ‘ where I divided it into two parts: the author’s biography and definition of the book. The first chapter showed “the verse orientations”. the first section studied eulogies, the second section tackled flirting the third section mentioned lamenting, the fourth section was about the satire The fifth section was about the description while the sixth section was about the pride. The seven section shows the complain. The eighth studied hoariness and youth. The ninth section mentioned abstention and Sufism the eleventh section studied the wisdom.
The second chapter which is entitled ” the artistic features” has three sections preceded by the speech about the artistic building of the poetic texts in the book. The first section discussed the poetic texts that mentioned in the book. So, the expressions were studied according to their eloquence, brevity, softness, simplicity, and oddity. It also included synonymy, repetition and derivation; as well as expressions of the religious heritage, nature expressions, expressions of policy and war. Later, styles were studied in accord to the nominal sentence and order compositional sentence. The second section studied devices that forms of the image represented by simile. Metaphor, and metonymy. In the same context, image pattrens according to sensitive and cognitive sides were studied. The sensitive image studied the visual image, auditory image, smelling image, and the cognitive image. The third section was about studying music which is divided into the internal music and the external music. Then, the conclusion came to imply a number of results. Finally, there were a list of references and bibliographies that were useful to the thesis.
Based on this, I would like to present thanks and gratitude to my supervisor who was a best scientific guide and leader to me during the research journey; therefore, all gratitude to him. Finally, I don’t claim perfection for my work or I gave the study its right, rather, if I was right, this is due to Allah favor. If I am mistaken, this belongs to me.
