The audio lesson of Al-Khidr Al-Yazdi in his explanation of Al-Shafia by Ibn Al-Hajeb

Abstract:
The significance of the study relates to the large number of Al Khadir Al Yazdi’s participations in morphology field in general and in phonology in specific. Thus, these participations have to be stood at, explicitly displayed, and later to be studied, garbled, investigated, as well knowing their origins from which he took his phonological data.
The study plan contained preface, three chapters, conclusion, and a list of references and bibliographies. The preface consisted of several points.
*defining Al Yazdi, name, origin, and the year of his writing the book.
*His influence and affected by his previous respected scholars, as well, those who came after him and took from his knowledge.
*writings: his book ” Sherh Al Shafiyah” in addition to other two books he wrote.
*His references that he took his morphological and phonological data.
*His method and style.
The first chapter was divided into two sections. The first section was about place of articulation that included ( the concept of place, the way of appointing the place, and number of places). In all these, I followed what the scholars reached at reaching to Al Yazdi. Then, I talked about place of articulation to Al Yazdi in more detail concerning the number of places, their arrangement. Then, I studied a number of Arabic sounds to the ancient reaching to Al Yazdi up to the modernists.
