The Argumentative Connectors and Elements in "the Interpretative Perspective s" Book in the Heritage of the Supreme Martyr Seyed Mohammed Al Sedr

Abstract:
The argumentative lesson is considered on the most prominent subject that linguistics tackled, for it is one of the main language cornerstone since it is in separable part of it. The argumentative connectors and elements represent one of the most important linguistic procedure and devices that carry out the language argumentative function, for it has the explicit impact on the process of understanding the linguistic discourse through directing the expression towards one result that achieves the speaker’s intention by convincing and believing it due to the inductive argumentative display it performs that his argument and making him strengthen and support the argument to reach the result intended to be proved and make the addressee to change his point of view and to be satisfied with it.
However, we generally talk to convince; therefore, we need for this purpose linguistic devices that can perform the speech purpose. Thus, those devices were the argumentative connectors and elements that have great importance and main function in linking arguments with each other or linking the argument with its results to support and strengthen it. In the current study, the researcher intended to study those linguistic devices and to emerge their argumentative role within the argumentative structure of the texts mentioned in “the Interpretative Perspective s” book by the supreme reference, martyr Seyed Mohammed Al Sedr (Allah rest his soul) that its subjects and varied and multiplied.
The study contained an introduction, a preface, and three chapters. The preface includes definition of argumentation linguistically and terminologically to Arab and Western old and recent scholars. It also defined martyr Seyed Mohammed Al Sedr, life, and everything relates to him; then, there was an idea about “the Interpretative Perspectives” book.
The first chapter was devoted to the argumentative connecters in “the Interpretative Perspectives” book, and the role they performed within the argumentative text by connecting the arguments and how martyr Seyed Mohammed Al Sedr highly greatly employed where he revealed strength and influence of his argument. The second chapter includes the most prominent argumentative elements that were mentioned in “the Interpretative Perspectives” book that martyr Seyed Mohammed Al Sedr used them as argumentative devices to achieve through them his aim to convince the receivers and to close the doubt path for these elements add guidance and limit of results and options to the text.
The third chapter was about studying the argumentative connectors and the argumentative elements as a comparative study in the light of meaning each connecter or argumentative element, and what a role in the light of text or context mentioned, with stating the similarity and difference places between a connecter and another or between an element and another dealing in every chapter the theoretical side of argumentative connectors or elements. This is followed by the practical side through the texts in “the Interpretative Perspectives” book. The study ended with conclusion showed the most important results followed by a list of references and bibliographies.
