Modernism, in the poetic subjects systems is not hidden to the reader and it what characterizes poets of the modern era. Therefore, its poet addresses the reality where he lives including religious, historical, and social issues. Limiting the study period from 1950 to 2020 was enough to know about the large number of Iraqi poets. Those passed through a hard political duration when the authority manacled their creativity and expropriate their writing freedom especially what is concerned with the writing about the respected prophet’s progeny. After 2003 till the date of the current study, they breathed the freedom air and their voices highly exploded in a space that grants expression an era. Thus, they expressed their long inhibition with praise and lamenting poems about the respected prophet’s progeny.

Our research is restricted within the limited period on two great persons of the respected prophet’s progeny they are the typical and pride of women: Fatima Al Zehra and Zainab Al Kubra ( p.b.u.t.). In spite of presence of previous studies that tackled the case of the lady Fatima in Arabic verse in general and in the Iraqi verse in specific, as well as the lady Zainab, the did not tackle the modern duration in Iraqi verse, beside they did not combine Al Zehra and Al Hawra in one single study in spite of the many similarities between them.

Therefore, the two ladies are ideal for Muslim women and an eternal symbol for the spirit before memory especially to Iraqi poets. They inspired and obtained from them all types of heroism, power, patience, and bestowment which is reflected on their thinking and their views. Therefore, they created in this type of mentioning the prophet’s progeny as Al Zehra and Al Hawra and they tried to document the brilliant lessons and wise considerations from the two ladies as well itemizing and stating their deeds to all humanity hoping to participate in building and assessing them through emerging consideration of the historical events that passed on them.

Thus, mentioning them is a stream to explode the potential creative powers for many poets taking their heroic stands beside the adversities and bereavements they came across as a way to register the religious accidents and disastrous historical events in their verses and announce them to others. As a result, the modern Iraqi poet could employ the heritage and heroic woman personal that struggled oppress and sadness and proudly stood without caring the time storms and did not hope anything except Allah acceptance to deliver His message.

Hence, my choice for the topic” The Two ladies Al Zahra’ and her Daughter Zainab ( p.b.u.t.) in Iraqi Modern Verse from 1950 to 2020: An Analysis Study” a title for the study that my supervisor master suggested ‘ Prof. Dr. Abdul Amear Muter Al Saidi’ with all thanks is represented by shedding the light on verse process devoted the two ladies after touching a significant role for those verses to Iraqi poets in the modern era, the period that extends over seventy years. This is to be able to collect what we could gathered including poetic writings that were written in this period.

It is an attempt to itemize these poems and lines that were said in two women personals that have a big role in events processing in their era and afterward up to our current time. It was agreed to have a margin for the study with’ an analysis study’ to be a sample for the artistic literary works.

It is an approach that stands on documenting and studying texts including the form and content and clarifying their aesthetic and artistic positions. The research adopted the field of deep reading to modern poetic texts to Iraqi poets for the religious and historical cases and to emerge the internal impacts and vision issue that the two cases of Lady Fatima and her daughter ( p.b.u.t.) altogether influenced in poets’ selves through stating the two cases of affecting and celebrating their two great personalities, beside the way of imaging these visions by the poets and an attempt to announce them in remarkable poetic poems.

Moreover, what was mentioned before the study significance is represented by emerging some Iraqi fameless poets and stating their cultural and doctrine poetic outcomes, as well as clarifying their artistic style through the weaved the Fatima and Zainab and how to employ thoughts in showing the oppression of the two ladies( p.b.u.t.).

I hope after this simple scientific effort, I could collect a number of poems in the right of two respected ladies as a modest service for them and for Iraqi literature.
