Strategic Flexibility And Its Effect On Crisis Management _Analytical exploratory study for the opinions of leaders working in the Directorate of Combating Crime in Baghdad

This study aims to identify the impact of strategic flexibility in its dimensions, flexibility of human capital, flexibility of information, and flexibility of expansion in crisis management in its dimensions. Discovery of warning signals, preparedness, prevention, damage containment, and learning at the level of the Baghdad Crime Control Directorate. The study problem was identified by a number of intellectual questions. and applied, and the most important of which is what is the impact of strategic flexibility in crisis management at the level of the Baghdad Anti-crime Directorate, the importance of the study lies in the need to develop security and service work in the Directorate of Anti-Crime in Baghdad by enabling security leaders to develop and enhance their skills related to crisis management in accordance with the strategic resilience approach. The descriptive analytical approach was adopted in analyzing and interpreting the results of testing the study’s main variables and its sub-dimensions, and the questionnaire was used. As a main tool in collecting data and information related to the field aspect of the study, The study was conducted on an intentional sample of (85) security leaders who were represented by department heads, their assistants and heads of divisions in the Baghdad Crime Control Directorate. Cronbach’s alpha stability coefficient, Pearson simple correlation analysis, structural equation modeling), and a number of hypotheses were developed for this study, the most important of which were: (there is a significant correlation between strategic flexibility and crisis management).
The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that strategic flexibility enables security leaders to direct their knowledge and skills towards changes surrounding the organization and adapt to its environmental conditions, in addition to the presence of a significant impact of strategic flexibility on crisis management. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of coordinating the philosophy and work of the Baghdad Anti-crime Directorate with the dimensions of strategic flexibility represented by (the flexibility of human capital, flexibility of information, flexibility of expansion) and working to develop it positively for success in crisis management.
