(Utilizing the Qur’anic Text in Solving Contemporary Problems – A Thematic Study)

Abstract:
This study addresses the use of the Qur’anic text in tackling contemporary issues facing individuals and society. It is an objective study aiming to uncover how the Holy Qur’an offers intellectual, ethical, and social solutions to current challenges. The study seeks to derive the Qur’anic methodology in dealing with modern crises such as family disintegration, moral deviation, identity loss, ideological conflicts, and the challenges of social justice. This is done by analyzing relevant Qur’anic verses through a thematic approach that connects verses and explores the preventive and remedial methods presented by the Qur’an to address various problems—whether doctrinal, intellectual, social, economic, political, etc.
The study also presents practical models demonstrating how Qur’anic discourse can contribute actionable insights that combine moral depth with universal comprehensiveness. It concludes that the Holy Qur’an represents a dynamic and renewable reference that can be activated in all times and places, provided it is re-read within an objective framework connected to real-life contexts and avoids fragmented or rigid interpretive approaches.

The study recommends integrating thematic interpretation into academic curricula and expanding applied studies that explore the effectiveness of the Qur’anic text in addressing emerging human issues.
