فقد تبوّأ النثر العربي مكانةً ساميةً، وبلغ مَبلغاً رفيعاً من الجودة والغزارة والتنوع حتى صار يُداني الشعر ويتفوق عليه ويسابقه في أغراضه وخصائصه، وصار يُعبّر عن نوازع الأُدباء الكُتاب في شتى المجالات بحكم طبيعته؛ لأنّه أكثر مرونة وطواعية في رسم الأفكار وتنوعها والتعبير عن المعاني على اختلافها والتي قد لا يستطيع الشعر الوصول إليها أو التعبير عنها.
وبذلك أصبح للنثر توجّهات عديدة بحسب الحالة التي يكون عليها كلّ عصر من هذه الحقبة، فقد برزتْ الخطب والرسائل أكثر من غيرها على الرغم من وجود فنون نثرية أخرى منها ما ذاع وانتشر ومنها ما اقتصر وجوده على عصر دون آخر كما ظهرتْ فنون نثرية جديدة ولاسيما المقامات، وكانت هذه الفنون أو الأشكال النثريّة تحمل في طيّاتها روح العصر الذي ولدتْ فيه.
ومما دعاني إلى البحث في نثر هذه الحقبة عن صورة الرسول (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)، واستكناه جوانبه المتنوعة بإشارة من الأستاذ الدكتور علي كاظم محمد المصلاوي المشرف على هذه الأطروحة وتتبع ظواهره بُغية الوقوف عند محطاته التي تضمنتْ تلك الصورة الشريفة، في حقبة مثّلت مرحلة نضوج النثر واكتماله، بعدّه انعطافة أدبية مهمة في تاريخ الأدب العربي، فكان عنوان الدراسة:( صورةُ الرَّسول محمّد(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلّم) في النثرِ الفنِّي العَربي( 132-656هـ)- دِراسةٌ تحليليّةٌ)

Abstract:

The importance of the topic’ The Image of the Messenger (p.b.u.h.) in Abasid Era’ is due to its shedding the light on a significant period of Arabic prose. There are some reasons behind choosing this study such as the researchers’ avoidance and fear to indulge in dealing with Abbasid prose in this way for it is a hard matter that can be hardly dealt with. Even those who studied it were satisfied to show texts clear for all and cover other texts practically concerning showing the prophet’s(p.b.u.h.) image to Abbasid rulers and their hidden styles in revealing the falsified facts in which they wanted to deceive society. Thus, the research tackled this side from a different perspective in which the researcher proved what their texts inducted. Therefore, the current study came to clarify a dark side that those who studied Abbasid prose especially caliphs’ speeches.
Despite the difficulties that have been faced, the study tackled whole Abbasid prose field ( 123-656 H.) excluding place geography hoping to reveal everything relating to the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image. It is a fertile field to uncover these cultural stores of imams, writers, and caliphs, stating their ability to subjugate these poems to serve their prose texts in spite of the search difficulty in digging about these texts and revealing the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) through them.
Based on this desire, the researcher tried to build the study material on three stations that formed the dissertation chapters preceded by a preface stated the concept of image in language and terminology for it is the key to read prose texts and to reveal its depths. The researcher stood in the second part of the preface of the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image before Abbasid era.

The first chapter which is entitled ” the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image in the prose forms “, has three sections.
The first section was about shedding the light on the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image in all types of speeches, including Ima’s speeches, caliphs’ speeches, as well speeches pf writers and the public.. The second section tackled the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image in all types of messages. The third section dealt with the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image in signatures and stanzas.
The second chapter reveal the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image in constructions and topic “, it has three sections. The first section stopped at the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) images in the prose initiates. The second section tackled the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image in implicatures. The third section uncovered the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image in conclusions.
The third chapter which is entitled” the artistic features of the messenger’s (p.b.u.h.) image “, it has three sections. The first section was about elements of the image formation through language, ideas, and emotions. The second section also stated the image through expressions, structures, and styles. The third section dealt with clarifying the internal structures of writings through ways of music and rhyme.
This was followed by conclusion included the most important results that were shown through our research career, the most important references, and an abstract in English.
The study method relied on the prose text. It considered the created text a base for viewing and analysis. Besides, there was a need for multiplication of methods, that’s why sometimes we find the descriptive method, other time we find the analytical method, and sometimes, the psychological method, that was due to the nature of the study and requirements of revealing the intentions.
