President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, inaugurates Department of Travel and Aviation Services, College of Tourist Sciences, University of Kerbala.
President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid, states that ” opening of this important and vital department is one of the most important steps in implementing visions of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to improve outputs of the university.”
Added to that, he says that College of Tourist Sciences is one of the most important colleges in the university and will have an important role in providing labour market with specialized human cadres in field of work in air ports through outputs of Travel and Aviation Services Department, especially with upcoming opening of Karbala International Airport, which will need specialized and professional staff with high efficiency.
For his part, Dean of College of Tourist Sciences, Dr. Salam Al-Asadi, explains that Travel and Aviation Services Department will be a qualitative leap towards enhancing position of College of Tourism Sciences as a source of science and knowledge, and it is culmination of continuous efforts made by the college and a strategic vision aimed at keeping pace with developments.
Al-Asadi points out that opening of this particular department is a result of tireless efforts of specialists who have experience in building general policy for tourism sector.
