Being organized by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, University of Kerbala wins the second place in the University Poetry Festival.

The festival has been hosted by University of Kufa and attended by a number of public and private universities from all over Iraq.
The participation of University of Kerbala in this aims at supporting students’ creativity and encourage them to engage in national university literary forums.
The student (Fatima Muhammad Hashim), College of Medicine, and (Karrar Rashid Aziz), College of Education for Humanities, participate in literary productions. They have been appreciated by arbitration committees.
