University of Kerbala Organizes a Scientific Workshop on “An Analysis of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for a Dignified Life”

Being delivered by Dr. Abbas Abdul-Ameer Taha, Dr. Dhiaa Qahtan Ibrahim, and Dr. Zaid Kamil Jawad, College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala holds a scientific workshop which is entitled “An Analysis of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for a Dignified Life.” The workshop aims at discussing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which launched by the United Nations in 2015 as a global call to action to eradicate poverty, protect planets, and ensure that all ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
the workshop includes an explanation of the concepts of development and sustainable development, focusing on an analysis of seventeen (17) integrated goals, which aims at achieving balance across all sectors of society.
The workshop emphasizes that creativity, innovation, knowledge, and the use of technology are essential elements for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and attaining a high standard of living for individuals and society.
