Faculty of Science has organized a course on problem solving and decision-making in cooperation with Al-Warith Academy for Human Development and Strategic Studies of Al-Hussainiya Holy Shrine. It has been presented by dean of the faculty, vice dean for scientific and administrative affairs, and a number of students.
The course aims at spreading Qur’anic awareness among students in an academic nature that includes the concepts of Holy Qur’an and Islamic ethics, in addition to the fact that problem solving is one of the basic skills that are concerned with studying the details of the problem and the surrounded difficulties, with the aim of knowing how to implement, follow and ensure that the problem does not repeated. Decisions are systematic and organized intellectual process, which requires the ability to collect available options, their disadvantages and benefits, compare them with other alternatives, and predict their results and methods of implementation, so that a person can make his decision on a logical and reliable basis.
