Asst. Prof. Mithaq Manahi Al-Issa , who is one of the teaching staff members at Department of Political Studies – Strategic Studies Center – University of Kerbala, has won the first place in the scientific competition which is entitled (sovereignty and national interest) that has been organized by Al-Alamein Institute for Higher Studies – Najaf, as part of a series of his scientific activities on the sovereign Iraq crisis. His study is entitled (The Problem of Sovereignty in the Doctrine of Iraqi Political Parties: A Study of the Islamic-Secular Approach).
Al-Issa says that his research aims at analyzing the ideological problem of Iraqi sovereignty. He adds the study hasconcluded that the problem of sovereignty in the doctrine of most of the Islamic political forces in Iraq is a complex problem related to philosophy of governance and its political theory.
