Karbala International Journal of Modern Science of University of Kerbala has ranked first after being selected as the best scientific journal for the fourth time, in addition to obtain the 19th globally according to Scopus classification of multidisciplinary journals. It is a journal classified within the first quarter (Q1). ).
Dean of Faculty of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Hanoun Hashim, says that this achievement takes place for first time in history of Iraq, and being honored by international publishing house, Elsevier.
For his part, editor-in-chief of the journal, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Abdel-Latif, says that we were hosted to give a lecture on success story of this journal and its attainment of advanced international ranks. More than 120 editors-in-chief and officials of international scientific journals attended this lecture as part of the activities of the Iraqi Knolwedege Day, which is organized by Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
