Kerbala University Discussing an M.A Thesis “The Preparation of a Microcomputer against Bacteria for some cyclic Derivatives”

Faculty of Science, University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis entitled “Microbiological preparation and preliminary evaluation of activities against bacteria for some new heterocyclic derivatives of benzothiazole.”
The thesis, presented by student Zahraa Kazem Jafjir from the Department of Chemistry, aims at identifying methods of preparing compounds and modern methods and the possibility of using them in preparing cyclic derivatives and testing the vital activity of compounds.
The discussion deals with the possibility of preparing the azoaldehyde derivative by reacting a base solution of hydroxybenzaldehyde with a diazonium salt solution of aminobenzothiazole. The resulting aldehyde complex was treated with some available anilines.
The discussion shows the role of the microwave excitation technique in absolute ethyl alcohol to obtain seven benzothiazole amine derivatives respectively.
The discussions clarifies the cyclic addition of the resulting amines with succinic anhydride, using microwave technology in a small amount of benzene, which gave seven new oxazolidinone derivatives carrying one benzothiazole unit, respectively. On the other hand, the treatment of intermediate amines with phthalate anhydride by using microwave technology in a small amount of benzene produced seven new benzoxazepine diene derivatives carrying one benzothiazole unit, respectively.
