Kerbala University Discussing an MA Thesis on ” a study of bacterial infections and their effects on some parameters associated with heart failure patients in Karbala”

Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences / Kerbala University has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled “a study of bacterial infections and their effects on some parameters associated with heart failure patients in Karbala”.
The thesis, submitted by Zainab Nasi Arif, aims at knowing the effect of bacteria in reducing the level of Troponin, in addition to the percentage of MCHC and the level of triglycerides of patients.
It shows that the most common bacteria in patients with heart failure is Staphylococcus hominis. The study explains that 90% of the bacterial isolates from patients with heart failure were resistant to the antibiotic meropenem, which is used in the treatment of bacterial infections in these patients.
