President of University of Kerbala University, Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Al-Saedi, is as a representative of Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kadhim Abdul-Sahib in the 1st
International Scientific Conference of Health and Medical Specialties, which is being held by Al-Zahra University, peace be upon her, in Karbala under the slogan “modern scientific technologies, our approach to advancement and progress”.
The representative of Minister says his speech that private universities and colleges have a great role in supporting and continuing scientific process in our country, especially Al-Zahra University, which has become one of the universities that have an important and significant role in educational process.
Al-Saedi adds that conferences are one of best means of scientific publishing methods.
He indicates that Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research stresses the importance of scientific publishing in international journals, which has raised the path of science and scientific researchers and made universities enter international classifications.
The representative of Minister appreciates the efforts made by administration of Al-Zahra University in convening this first international conference of health and medical specializations, calling on conferees to unify visions, review modern technologies and present ideas in solving problems facing progress and development in health and medical fields.
