A team of professors from College of Agriculture / University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdul Jeleel Lahuf, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Kareem, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Seena Muslim Abdul, participate in two training workshops within TMT-Iraq project: entitled “Capacity Building in Water Experts Network and Integrated Entrepreneurship”.
The workshops held at College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences / University of Salahaddin/Erbil in cooperation with Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands, and Dutch Nuffic organization within Orange Knowledge Programme programs provided by Stichting iCRA. .
This participation reflects growing interest of the college in enhancing interaction between scientific research and practical applications in agriculture and water sector and confronting climate change.
The workshop aims at developing skills and practical knowledge in field of teaching and improving climate-smart agricultural curricula and modern shift towards using technology to support agricultural productivity and respond to rapid climate change.
This step comes within University of Kerbala’s interest in developing students’ skills and qualifying them to keep pace with modern developments in field of agriculture and confront climate change.
