Faculty of Science University of Kerbala has organized a training course on processing spectral data using Origin programme (Ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectra as a model) for postgraduate students and researchers.
The course aims at clarifying the processes of including information and demonstrating control options and graphics represented in determining type of axes, shape of lines, and divisions of axes.
The course includes performing various operations using the programme by recalling various data from Excel programme, for example, copying resulting graphics and placing them within Word programme, including equations, drawing a calibration curve and related equations, as well as drawing ultraviolet-visible and infrared spectra, using the programme and how to draw XRD curves and determine Miller equations using the Origin programme.
