University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled Remodeling Bone Metabolism by RANKL/RANK-OPG Pathway induce by Treadmill Exercise in Osteoporotic Male Rats

College of Veterinary Medicine / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled Remodeling Bone Metabolism by RANKL/RANK-OPG Pathway induce by Treadmill Exercise in Osteoporotic Male Rats.
The study aims at testing the role of walking exercise on RANK, RANK-L, OPG and Cathepsin-K pathway by estimating levels of RANK, RANKL, OPG, cathepsin K proteins and other biomarkers using femoral X-rays, light microscopy for histological examination, and electron microscopy.
The study recommends the need to know the effect of treadmill on a high-cholesterol diet, and studies the effect of walking on cardiovascular system.
