Researcher Dhia Muzhir Al-Moussawi, a lecturer at Department of Media and Public Relations / University of Kerbala presented his M.A. thesis, University of Religions and Denominations -Islamic Republic of Iran and under the supervision of Dr. Haider Shallal Al-Karaiti – University of Kerbala and Dr. Muhammad Baghdadi – University of Religions and Denominations.
The study aims at comparing levels of achieving job satisfaction of reporters in visual and written media in Iraq the Iraqi newspaper Al-Dustour and Al-Furat satellite channel are two examples.
The thesis concluded that there is no statistically significant differences in level of job satisfaction according to media institution in which they work.
The study recommended improving and developing salaries to achieve a high level of satisfaction for living needs, updating work environment periodically, achieving response to results by human resources departments, paying attention to human relations, encouraging participation and exchanging ideas and experiences.
