University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A. Thesis on “Improvement of Performance of Self-controlled Electronic Surgery Devices”

Faculty of Engineering / University of Kerbala has examined improving the performance of self-controlled electronic surgical devices. It has been presented by Hasban Aboud Saber.
The thesis which is entitled (Designing high-frequency and self-controlled electronic transducers of output power for medical applications) deals with the development of advanced and intelligent control systems of electronic surgical devices in order to reduce the incidence of post-operative injuries (including charring of skin tissue), which forces most patients after surgery to perform expensive cosmetic procedures.
The discussion has suggested designing a surgical generator with an autonomous system (using artificial intelligence techniques) to regulate the power generated for cutting or cauterizing skin tissue.
